Skyrim Dark Nights Mod

Skyrim Dark Nights Mod Rating: 4,9/5 9902 reviews

Ive just come back to skyrim and remember my nights to be a lot darker than they are now. I have RLO and I swear they were dark before but.

Who have ever used torches?!

Who have really feared walking in a night dark forest?!

.

When I was playing on PC, one of the first mod I turned on was 'darker nights' and 'darker dungeons', and the game became more immersive!

But now that I'm playing on PS4 with Skyrim VR, I can't use any mods to turn dungeons and nights dark!

I tried with adjusting Gamma-correction slider in Settings Menu every time I entered a dungeon or when night comes but it's not the same.. frustrating.

Hunting at night or planning an ambush to your enemies at night (maybe using Detect Life spell) should be one of the game approach allowed by real darker nights that hides you in the dark!!

Imagine using a torch roaming around in a forest at night!! On my PC it was possible and it was awesome!

I will post you some screenshots taken from my PC version to explain more.

How many used Darker Nights and Dungeons to have a more dynamic gameplay? Case ih mx 125.

D-)

  • Luumiasims No blu lighting mod
Things look darker especially if you aren’t close to a light source

  • Thank you for the response @CupcakeWitch.
I have that mod already and it's very good at getting rid of that horrible blue lighting. I also use the mod that keeps the Sims themselves from glowing as if they are lit from within. Unfortunately, the nights are still so bright. I'm not sure why games continue to do this.

  • @Cynna the only thing I can think of is those reshading mods (like how some give the game more color, red rints, or put the whole game black and white, etc). But I never use them since I can’t really understand the instructions

TS4 really does need a mod like this because compared to the other games, TS4 is way too bright for it to actually be night. WB is dark but not as dark as FH, and I feel even WB in some areas (out in the wooded areas) needs darker skies and more stars.

  • @CupcakeWitch , thanks for the pointer. I'll see if I can find something like that. It might help.

Exactly. Especially in Granite Falls, it's too darn bright.
